Optimist Ice Race At The Rink
The second 2012 winter race will be at the Jackson Optimist Ice Arena, with a tentative date of Saturday March 24, 2012. The track will be an oval just as in the past . There will be one hour of practice allowing drivers to make handling adjustments to their karts during this time. Each team will compete in three 40 lap heat races and a 150 lap feature race (all 20 karts will make the feature this year). Practice will start at 5:30 pm. Racing will start at 7:00 pm and end around 10:30 pm.
